Would you make butter from your own breast milk? No? Well, one mum spent an hour shaking a small bottle of breast milk to do exactly that.
Michelle, known as Whatmichelledoes on Imgur, decided to make butter from her breastmilk one evening and she then posted her pictures for all to see.
Recipe
Squeeze 2oz of breastmilk into a small cup. Replace lid and shake!
After 20 minutes, when you realise that this isn't working, transfer breast milk to a larger container. Continue shaking until tiny balls of butter begin to appear - this should take around 40 minutes.
Transfer tiny balls of butter into lid of said container.
Taste to check that they taste like butter.
We haven't tried it here at Mumii HQ but according to Michelle it tasted of the 'sweetest, creamiest butter' she had ever tasted.
Now Michelle isn't the first person to turn breastmilk into something more suited to the adult palate - maybe she has started a trend and we will see this served in high class restaurants, alongside breastmilk cheese or maybe breastmilk icecream?
