For those of you who like us, are Bugaboo fans, you may be aware that they have been working in collaboration with the Andy Warhol Foundation for the last two years. This has now, sadly, come to a close with the launch of their fourth and final collection, ‘Andy Warhol + Bugaboo Retrospective Collection’. It may be the end of the collaboration but we don’t think you will be disappointed!
The Andy Warhol + Bugaboo Retrospective Collection celebrates the legendary pop artist throughout his career. It is designed to be fun and enables owners to really make themselves a statement pushchair. You simple chose your pushchair and then accessorise as you see fit......be as bold as you dare. Mix and Match and create something that will truly stand out from the crowd!
Four prints....four stories
Butterflies – based on Warhol’s early work (1955), these beautifully drawn butterflies showcase his series repetition which has become his trademark.
Globetrotter – inspired by Warhol’s 1983 Toys paintings, these vehicles on their vintage French map are bound to catch the eye of any spaceship, car, plane, train, motorcycle or boat enthusiast.
Marilyn Monroe – need we say more? This surely HAD to be included in this collection? This is the only one of the range which has one purchase option, as surely everyone HAS to see Marilyn?
Banana – a bold flip of colour schemes, this range originates from Warhol’s notorious 1966 print which was used for The Velvet Underground & Nico’s first album cover.
The Andy Warhol + Bugaboo Retrospective Collection will be available from November 2014 in selected retailers and then more widely online from December. Each print will include a sun canopy and Tote Bag, and will retail at £115. So - all you need to do now is decide which is your favourite print and whether you prefer this to be on the inside or the outside of your hood!
