The RECARO Privia infant carrier is suitable from birth to 13kgs, approximately 15 months old. At 3.7kgs, it is one the lightest seats in its class.
Privia is fitted with RECARO’s unique safety system, HERO - Headrest Optimisation System. Hero is a one piece concept for the head support and shoulder pads so there can be no slipping or twisting of the belts and shoulder pads. HERO helps prevent skin irritation to the child’s head and neck providing additional comfort. A removable insert cushion provides extra support and comfort for a new born baby.
Privia is also fitted with the RECARO SMARTfit Comfort System; the HERO system and belt can be adjusted with one hand movement and there is an ergonomic handle for comfortable carrying. One handle on the back of the seat ensures easy release of the shell from the RECARO fix base* (*Available separately as an accessory) Installation is easy with either the RECARO fix base or using the vehicle’s seatbelt.
Privia has full side impact protection in the head, side and hip areas; it offers a deep comfortable position for your baby with RECARO seating foam as used in the automotive industry.
The sun canopy helps to shade your baby from bright light and in the event of a collision it will help to shield you child from debris. For additional comfort there is the practical rocking function and it has breathable covers which are machine washable at 30°C. There are adaptors available so Privia can be used with a wide range of strollers that are on the market.

- Winners will be chosen at random using a random number generator from all successful entrants.
- The winners will be notified by email and/or telephone within 7 days of the competition draw.
