I am a 30 year old working mum living in the Scottish North East fishing town of Peterhead with my husband Joe and our daughter, Romaya, aged 2 and son, Lucas, who was born on 23rd July 2013. I am currently on maternity leave from my job as a Staff Nurse at one of the main hospitals in the area. My interests include reading, shopping and spending time with family and friends. I am also an Avon representative and often hold fundraisers for local organisations. I enjoy attending various Mother and toddler activity groups with my children.

First Impressions
Hi there! I received my Snoozeshade on 3rd September. My first impression of it is that it folds down into a handy size for popping in the changing bag and not too heavy either. However, I am not keen on the colour- black with a lime coloured trim, it doesn't go with my navy and cream car seat! This may put potential customers off, I wonder if it comes in other colours? It seems to be a generous size which is good because Lucas' Silver Cross car seat is quite big. Looking forward to trying it out!

It's been a cold windy day again and the rain has been blowing through.
Today we took a trip to the supermarket in the car, so before we left, I fitted the SnoozeShade to Lucas' car seat. We have an Isofix base in our car so it was brilliant being able to leave the SnoozeShade on whilst in the car. It meant that I didn't have to take the SnoozeShade on and off, especially with it being such a miserable day. When using the seatbelt to secure Lucas' car seat, the SnoozeShade would have to be removed to allow access to the seatbelt points on the car seat so some may find this a disadvantage to the product.

Another trip out in the car today but for a walk around the local shops instead. It has been a brighter day but a cool wind. Again, I fitted the SnoozeShade before I left the house and just clipped the car seat onto the pram wheels when we arrived at the shops.
The SnoozeShade has attracted a lot of attention today and many comments have been passed, all positive!!!-
"What's that?", "I've never seen that before", "What a good idea!"!
If I hadn't had the SnoozeShade, I would have used the raincover to protect Lucas from the cold wind but it isn't as breathable and would not have kept the sun out of Lucas' eyes. I think Lucas sleeps better when it is dark too!

Today we went to visit my brother at his house. He has a little Jack Russell called Lucy and she is a very excitable wee thing, always pleased to see Romaya and especially Lucas! The SnoozeShade was great for stopping Lucy trying to give Lucas a kiss while he was sleeping!! Another situation where the SnoozeShade surprised me!
Overall, I would give the SnoozeShade 4 out of 5 stars. The reason for this being the colour of it, as I think it would be great to be able to pick a colour to match the car seat and also, I wasn't keen on the fluorescent trim. A white reflective trim would be better in my opinion. Apart from that, it worked well in a variety of situations giving Lucas a safe place, a nice dark snug environment for snoozing and protection from the sun. I think this product would be most useful in the summer months but also on windy and cold days as adequate protection from the elements. Love it and have recommended it to several friends already.
