Finding somewhere to comfortably sit your little one can often be a problem. Some seats are too big, too small or too hard, and many are great for at home but far too big and bulky to take when you travel. doomoo have come up with a multi use product that will solve all your baby seating problems, and here at Mumii we take a closer look.
The doomoo seat is a multipurpose seating option, offering a supportive and cosy nest for tiny babies which can be adapted into a toddler seat for older children. With a stylish range of designs to choose from, there should be something to suit every home and every family. Find out more in our doomoo seat review.

Colour options
There are a choice of bases in a range of colours. Choose from bird base in blue, khaki, turquoise and lime. Tree base in green, sand, silver and lemon. Stones base in grey, blue, taupe and pink. There is also a Jeans base with white cover; A must silver base with white cover and a home collection with plain grey or white bases.
With tiny babies, you want something that is supportive yet comfortable – somewhere they can rest while still being held in the correct position. The doomoo is designed with a supportive leather effect base which helps to maintain the shape. This is filled with foam microballs which can move around to create the perfect shapes seat for your needs. The top layer is a super soft cotton which feels silky to the touch – not only does this feel gorgeous to me, but it would be a wonderfully comfortable and non irritating surface for babies to lie on. The baby cover comes with a simple 3 point safety harness which can be adjusted by simply pulling on the harness tail – there is plenty of adjustment available, and so it should be more than adequate for most babies.
I think my favourite bit about the doomoo seat is how versatile it is. Not only is it a wonderfully supportive baby seat which mimics a nest shape for a cosy newborn area, but you can then zip off the baby section and replace with the included harness free cover, which makes it a great toddler crash zone too. It reminds me of a bean bag style seat – ideal for sitting, lying and even napping on. It is plenty big enough for larger toddlers up to 30kg – in fact even my almost 6 year old has space to sit comfortably in here.
The top covers can easily be removed and popped in the machine for washing (we all know how important that is) and the PVC style base is simple to keep clean too – a quick wipe over with a damp cloth is all that is needed.
Another great feature of the doomoo seat is the style. It looks gorgeous, and the range of colours and styles available should appeal to everyone. It is very modern looking, and would compliment almost any room.
If you are after a baby seat that will last beyond the first few months, then I would recommend taking a look at the doomoo seat. Very adaptable, and able to be used from newborn right through to the toddler years, it is a versatile option for any family. You can buy refills of the beads inside too, so you could easily refill and use again for another baby.
It is pricey – but when compared to other baby seats on the market it is not the most expensive, and when you consider how many years worth of use you can get from it, I think the price is justifiable.
Stylish, easy to use and ever so comfortable for any age child, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the doomoo seat. You can get accessories to make it even more fabulous too – a rocking base, a toy bar and a cosy footmuff style blanket for colder days, so it really is the all singing, all dancing seat in the baby world. Take a look – I think you might like it.
