Ak Templer 'Living With' the Gro to Bed from Gro Company

By: AK TemplerDate added: 30th July 2013
Washes really well and Keeps its colour
    Lovely bright designs
The elastic strap at the back of the mattress cover is brilliant!
The price is a bit high but then I guess with the good quality and the functualitly of this product that's what you have to pay for your baby's safety and some more sleep time for mummy!!

Hello my name is AK Templer I am 29 and live with my Partner and our funny Boy Finn who is nearly 3 years old in the lovely Buckinghamshire. Next to working Part Time as a Nanny & Nursery Assistant I love blogging about Finn´s daily Adventures over at www.mybuggyjunction.co.uk. Finn loves his sleep (touch wood he still sleeps up to 2.5 hours a day) but not one night goes by where I don´t find him the next morning with his duvet out of the bed, rolled up, or even used as a pillow. Now he´s getting older I think he might be ditching the Gro Bag soon and I am looking forward to use the Gro to Bed Bedding as a alternative. We can’t wait to test it out with our little wriggler.

Amy Fox 'Living With' the Gro to Bed from Gro Company

Fits onto a toddler bed well.
    Prevents falling out of bed.
Price good for a sheet, duvet cover AND pillow.
    Only available for toddler beds
    Designs are stereotypically gender based.
Pillow limits movement for child's comfort preferences.

Hi I'm Amy and I am 25 from Essex. I live with my fiancé Steven and we have two gorgeous little monsters Mylah (2 1/2 years) and Tate (5 months). I am a nursery nurse and have recently qualified as an NVQ assessor and have also just completed my adult teaching course. I am currently on maternity leave so am very lucky to get to spend every day with the children. Mylah loves being active so we are usually at the park, on the trampoline or dancing (she loves Rudimental!). Tate adores his big sister and finds everything that she does absolutely hilarious! She turns his tears to laughter and I love watching them together.

I love finding out about new products and I'm a bit of a shopaholic!

Debbie Gurney 'Living With' the Gro to Bed from Gro Company

    Sheet stays on
Generous enough cut to have a mattress protector under the sheet
Keeps toddler safe and warm in bed
    On the expensive side
White sheets are harder to keep clean with young children – it would be nice if the sheets came in colours rather than white
Zip starts too low down on the duvet cover and allows a bit too much wiggle room for a child to get out

Hi, my name is Debbie and I'm 41. I am mum to Angus who is 21 months and he's about to become a big brother any day now! My husband, Craig, and I are very excited to find out whether we're having a boy or girl!

We like to be fairly active as a family, whether going for a stroll at a local park in Cardiff or driving out to one of the gorgeous beaches along the Welsh Coastal Path. We don't let inclement weather deter us, we just make sure we're prepared.

Nicola Wilkinson 'Living With' the Gro to Bed from Gro Company

Excellent quality with a great choice of different designs.
Finley sleeps really well and has never fallen out .
No more getting cold when the covers fall off.
The idea of the Gro-bedding is to keep the child in, but the zips can be quite restrictive if the child is a wriggler sleeper.
Quite expensive, especially if you require a spare for when washing or if accidents happen,
If an accident occurs during the night it's not the easiest and quickest bedding set to change.

Hi, my name is Nicola, I'm 30 and live in Cornwall with my husband Sam and Two small children, Finley is 3 and Toby is 1. They are both very lively boys with very different personalities and they are always on the go! We spend most of our days out and about either in the garden, going to parent and toddler groups, visiting friends or going to soft play we are always busy! Finley has just started pre-school and is enjoying making new friends. We are very excited to be testers for Mumii. Thank you NT x
