The MaByland Maxi Elite Bag offers great value for money at £69.99 RRP- it is a well made and well thoughout product in the world of changing bags. It is quite understated in it's design which will be a plus for some and a negative for others. Most of the colour options would suit either parent but Mums might yearn for something a little 'prettier' of course. The changing mat included in this bag is one of my favourite features - it is cleverly hidden in it's own pocket at the front of the bag. Hiding it away from the rest of the contents of the bag, it can easily be rolled out when needed. It's easily accessible and just the right size. With a multitude of pockets, if you are after a good value understated bag, then this one is worth consideration.
This bag has a lot of space for everything and considering it's quite big it, seems quite light but the extra pockets are not that big and they are quite far inside the bag. You find yourself digging for what you need and everything seems to get lost and mixed together. The bag is also not waterproof as I found I out waiting to pick my son up from school! I do love the colour and I like that there is loads of space, I just wish it was more organised.
I neither love or hate this bag. The design makes it suitable for man or woman. I like that there are two insulated bottle warmer pockets as most changing bags only come with one. The way they have put the changing mat at the front in a separate pocket is a good concept as it means no fiddling about to find it and more room inside the bag for other things. The bag itself is also very lightweight a good thing if you need to be carrying lots in there. However the bag is lacking in space, the pockets are quite small and even the main compartment isn't that large. I also don't think the bag screams luxury, the print is quite boring, it wouldn't stand out on a shop shelf for me and I wouldn't be willing to pay the price they are asking.
