First impressions of the Minene Layla Changing Bag are that this is heavy compared to the other backpacks! Once weight is added with contents it may not be the most comfortable on your back. However, I like the fact that it can be carried 3 ways - backpack, carryhandle or attached to stroller. There is a removable internal pouch which means you can use the bag as a stylish shoulder bag with no hint to its original use. Included is a decent sized changing mat that has a warmer layer for baby to lay on than most - I love this! The bag itself has a waxed, weatherproof feel to outer fabric, perfect for when you are caught in a shower of rain. This is quite a spacious bag offering ample storage - the bag opens nice and wide so you can access and see your items with ease..I hate bags you can't get into!

At RRP £65.00, this backpack-styled changing bag is cheaper than many on the market and offers parents the option of a range of designs from the more muted plain to the bolder floral designs Minene are becoming known for. Overall a well-priced option - practical, stylish and desirable.

The Layla Changing Bag has a vintage look about it which will appeal to a wide range of parents, however personally I wasn’t quite as impressed with the external finish as I was the other bags in the category. Whilst the bag offers a lot of space I found its huge size a little too large to carry like a traditional backpack which is a real shame.

At first look this was the bag that all my friends seemed to admire and like the look of the pattern, myself included. But as a baby backpack, I didn't find it comfortable to wear for too long periods, it is robust with its wipeable material, roomy inside, but a little heavy without the baby equipment even in it. Its a lovely looking bag, but the straps are not the most comfortable to use as a backpack, the idea is great changing it from a backpack to messenger bag, or using the over large metal rings to attach it to the buggy, but for comfort it could do with being more comfortable for everyday use as a baby backpack.
