The Babymule Original is lovely soft to touch with well padded adjistable shoulder straps for comfort. The excellent thing about this back is you can choose to wear it either as a backpack or across the body like a messenger bag or by its carry handle - the rucksack style shoulder straps tuck neatly away if you don't need them. It has buggy clips for hands free mode - another added extra which I love. It has a lovely design to fabric making it 'prettier' rather than just practical with 3 colourways to choose from. It has an abundance of pockets to store both parent and baby items - you really couldn't want for more pockets! My little niggle is that the changing mat isn't overly well padded but it is sufficient. Zip closures are well concealed to prevent people helping themselves to your contents which is a plus, however they are so well concealed that you have to peel back the fabric to unzip them at regular intervals which is frustrating, so a double edged sword there. At RRP £84.00 I think it offers good value for money - it is well made and robust - overall an impressive bag - practical and pretty!
The Babymule is pretty to look at and features a large array of pockets and hidden features. I love the variety of options which the 3 way carrying system provides but find the sheer amount of pockets and compartment a little too much as I can never remember where I’ve put anything. This being said the bag is one which both daddy and I are more than happy to carry as it has a unisex appeal. One other feature which I really liked are the built in buggy clips- in my opinion all changing bags should have them.
This bag is just what I imagine a great baby backpack should be. It is so comfortable to wear on your back, taken on long trips walking in the country or even popping to friends for coffee. The bag is soft and has many pockets to store all the paraphernalia we need to take around with us. The straps can be hidden to then use it as a everyday messenger bag. My partner was just as happy to wear this out and about and we liked the versatility, but most important was that as a baby backpack, this is so very comfortable to wear, this one felt just right on our backs which is so important. The Babymule, fits with our busy lives, it also blends well with different pushchairs and buggies, suits and fits Dads as well as Mums.
